Return to Up Close: BOFA Profile
LIVING IN
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
SCHOOL
I attend CHS, grade 12, Drama programme
CREATING/PERFORMING
Since BOFA, I co-wrote and acted in a sketch-comedy show called Ptoink for the Ottawa Fringe Festival in 2002.

FAVOURITE ACTIVITIES
While not enveloped by BOFA, my life includes two hockey teams, and two ultimate Frisbee teams, as well as being an uber-geek.

BOFA MOMENTS
My BOFA moment catalogue is near endless, but a few that stand out are: Alex Neuman starting a scene with “Get in the pumpkin, wench!”, Andrew Dillon’s famous performance warm-ups, and an occurrence of a Frenchman in a cauldron.

FUTURE PLANS
Plans include finishing the Drama program and my time at CHS, and then running away to post secondary somewhere (likely for Theatre, though Math, Physics, Law, and History, among other things, are not out of the question).

FAVOURITE THING TO DO
My favourite of the things I do is sharing my humour with an audience, whatever form that may take. I enjoyed creating Ptoink most of all, because its frivolous nature sponsored a minimum of stress, and because I felt it most reflected my personality. I have certainly earned recognition from my peers for having long, gangly limbs, and living in the mindset of a cartoon.

MOST PROUD OF
I have been most proud of my performances with BOFA, because they represent so much work, play, and personality from those who I love.

MOST DIFFICULT
Most difficult or unpleasant for me was (I am pleased to say there is nothing more than) rehearsing the hip-hop games with BOFA.
